Mini Quotes! My husband and I have 5 boys. Yes, FIVE! If you are a Mama of boys, then you know conversation must be short and to the point. Don’t even think about a lengthy intellectual conversation. Not gonna happen. This is why I started leaving simple life quotes around the house in hopes that they will actually READ them! We have one of those Smart Samsung Refrigerators which makes drawing my boys’ attention to my quotes a bit easier since I’m using technology! If I type up a morning quote on our fridge, they will for sure check it out and EVEN, make one up of their own just so they can use the technology in the kitchen! Now is it a bit of a morning distraction from morning chores. Um…yes, but well worth it!This one I made strictly for our youngest who too often can choose to have his poo poo pants on rather than his POSITIVE PANTS!
If you are interested in trying these out for yourself, they are super fun to make! All you need are mini canvas’ (I prefer the flat one’s vs the inch think canvas, but you could use either), mini easel stands because personally I think this makes all the difference in how they are displayed, and of course vinyl paper of your choice. OH, don’t forget to lightly coat your vinyl with mod-podge so they viny won’t peel.
My kiddos don’t know this yet, but I SO plan on placing these throughout their dorm rooms when they go to college and changing them out each time I visit! 🙂 Hmmm….their first college quote! What should it be? If you have ideas, I’d love to hear!
