Super Quick and Easy Valentine Party Food! Heart Shaped Candy Skewers are sure to be a hit.

Charcuterie board, what to do, what to do? I just LOVE to decorate charcuterie boards for special holidays and what better holiday to decorate for than Valentine’s Day with all the pretty pinks and reds! This weekend I was out shopping and came across all this delicious candy and had an idea! How about making Valentine Skewers and adding them to our charcuterie board?!

Here we go! Check out how to put together these super simple Valentine Skewers!

Step One

Gather Supplies. I used the following.

Skewers are a great way to change things up! Rather than tossing random food onto a cheese board, grab your skewers and start stringing. They are super fun to make and make and let’s face it, it’s a lot easier to grab a skewer and go than fix a plate full of food…. especially at a kid’s party!

Have skewer ideas of your own? I’d love for you to share!

For a Healthier Version

Try cheese, fruit and crackers. This is a small cheese board for two that I put together.

Personally, I’d ditch the candy any day for some fruit and crackers! I really enjoyed putting this charcuterie board for two together. I love to come up with different ways to display my food, so it looks extra pretty!

Here I used cupcake liners, turned them upside down and stuck toothpick labels through the middle. I had to place a gummy heart underneath the cupcake holder so my display wouldn’t move. I then attached a piece of washi tape around my toothpicks and wrote the type of food on the tape. Viola! Display complete and ready to be shared with a special loved one.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
