Best Dog Bow How to Tutorial at Creating Purple Joy

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this tutorial for creating dog bow ties. Honestly, I have searched the internet and tried a bunch of different how-to tutorials, but I really liked this one the best! There are a couple of reasons why.

  1. I personally do best with visual pictures. Jackie, at Creating Purple Joy does a great job showing just HOW she made her bows rather than me trying to follow a how-to script. I usually get lost about a few paragraphs in. This site was easy to follow and to the point. Great visuals.
  2. Many tutorials for dog bow ties show one piece of elastic attached to a piece of felt on the back side of the bow that is hot glued onto the actual bow tie. This site secures the elastic pieces directly to the fabric itself in two different places allowing you to slide the bowtie onto any collar. Also allowing for a snug fit to the collar which will not have you constantly adjusting your pups collar!
